Ionia Sentinel - 27 August 1909
Egbert D. Harrington, an old time resident of the county, died at the home in 
Orleans near Woods Corners, Tuesday night at age of 76.  In the early days of 
the P. M. road then the D.I.N., when the Stanton branch had a big business and 
Woods’s Corners was a regular station, Mr. Harrington was the station agent.  
He leaves a wife, Hettie, a daughter of the late Philander Hinds, a pioneer 
resident of Ionia, but no children.  Funeral at the home at 2 pm fast time, 
Thursday.  Interment, Higbee 
cemetery.
