Lake Odessa Wave - August 25, 1955
          JACOB HARRINGTON DIED WEDNESDAY
   Jacob Harrington, 87, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Pennock hospital where
he had been a patient 
since Monday evening.  Death was attributed to a heart ailment.
   He was a lifelong resident of Ionia county with the exception of about three
years spent in Powe, Mo. where 
he resided after his marriage to Nancy Shelton.
   Mr. Harrington was employed by the Nestle Food Co. and later the Arctic Dairy Co.
for about 25 years.
   Surviving are his wife, Nancy; two daughters. Mrs. Edith Foote of Grand Rapids
and Mrs. Nellie Lumbert of 
Lake Odessa, two sons, George and Fred also of Lake Odessa and 13  grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 26 at the Pickens funeral chapel
at 2 p.m. with burial in 
Lakeside cemetery.
   Rev. M. H. Dawson will officiate.
