Lake Odessa Wave - Times - December 14, 1944
          FORMER RESIDENT DIES
   Ben Harrington, 89, a former resident of Lake Odessa, passed away at Ionia,
Saturday evening.  He was 
born January 18, 1855, in Odessa township and had lived all his life in this
vicinity until the past few years in 
Ionia.  Surviving are a brother Jacob in Lake Odessa, and a sister Mrs. Sarah Lacey
at Bowne Center.  Funeral 
services were held at the Wortley & Baine chapel Tuesday afternoon with the Rev.
Paul Olmstead officiating.  
Burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
