           FREDERICK L. HARRINGTON

LAKE ODESSA-Frederick L.Harrington, age 85, of Lake Odessa, passed into the 
loving arms of Jesus early Friday morning, June 23, 2006.

Fred was born in Lake Odessa on November 19, 1920 to Jacob and Nancy (Shelton) 
Harrington.

Fred was afflicted with polio as a child which left him physically disabled, but 
it did not diminish his love for his family, friends and the activities which he 
could do.

He loved to play the harmonica in church..and enjoyed whittling, carving and 
fishing.

Fred was a master checkers player, and even with his cane he could eat the 
entire family to the dinner table. He had been a joyful member of the Faith 
Bible Church, and attended all the services at Thornapple Manor where he resided 
since 1999.

Fred is survived by his sister, Edith Foote of Tendercare; sister-in-law, Dora 
Harrington, who along with er late husband, George, had cared for Fred in their 
home for over 30 years; many loving nieces and nephews and their families; and 
his many friends at Thornapple Manor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nellie Lumbert and brother, 
George Harrington.

The funeral service for Fred was held on Monday June 26, 2006 at the Faith Bible 
Church. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.

The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the Faith 
Bible Church.

Arrangements were handled by the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.
