Harrington, 63, a Belding public school custodian who has been ill for a year, died Thursday. He was a native of Lakeview. Before becoming an employee of the public school system, Mr. Harrington had worked at the Belding silk mills. He had lived at 416 Mary street for 4 5years. He was a member of the Central Methodist church where he had served as chairman of the board of trustees and as lay leader. A veteran of World War I, he was station in England with a cavalry division. Surviving besides his wife Eva is a daughter, Mrs. Beth Hazelett, of Springfield, Ohio; a half sister, Mrs. Fred Harding of Belding; and a brother Esmon of California. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Central Methodist church with burial in River Ridge cemetery.
