Ionia County News, 15 Jan 1942

George B. Harris, 63, of Jackson, died about seven o’clock Thursday morning, 
January 8, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Harry Snellgrove, 320 N. Dexter street.

Mr. Harris was thought to be recovering from a recent operation, and came to 
Ionia earlier in the week to visit Mr. and Mrs. Snellgrove.  Soon after his 
arrival he suffered a stroke from which he failed to rally.  Funeral service was 
in Jackson Monday, with burial at Hudson, Mich.
