They were diseased in such a manner his entire system was poisoned. He was believed on the road to recovery until noon Sunday, but suffered a relapse and death soon followed. It was a distinct shock to his widow, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Harris of Saranac, and a brother, Charles Harris of Rockford. Charles visited him Saturday night and telephoned to the parents he was progressing nicely. He served in the World war, during which time he spent in Russia. After he was mustered out of the service he went to work for the Macey Furniture company of Grand Rapids. He was born near Clarksville. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock eastern standard time, from the Congregational church at Clarksville, with Rev. W. A. Minty of Grand Rapids in charge. Interment will be made in the Elmdale cemetery.
