Willard J. Harris, 49, R1 Sidney, died this morning at Grand Rapids Osteopathic 
Hospital.  He had been ill for several weeks.  An employee of Gibson Products 
Corp., Mr. Harris was born at Hubbardston May 27, 1919, the son of William and 
Clara Harris.  He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his widow, Laura, and four stepchildren, William and Ray Jenkins, 
Houghton Lake, and Garth Smith and Mrs. Karen Felpouch, Grand Ledge.  Also 
surviving are five brothers, Stanley, Saginaw; Frank, Gladstone; Don, Mr. 
Pleasant, and Lee and Jack, Belding, and two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Slocum, 
Hubbardston, and Mrs. Marian Gavitt, Ft. Myers, Fla.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Brown-Teman Funeral Home.  The Rev. 
Lowell Pederson will officiate.  Burial will be in Sidney Cemetery.  The family 
will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
