Carolyn Louise Harris, 67, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014.  She was born 
on September 2, 1946 in Ionia County, MI the daughter of Verner and Violet 
(Howard) Richardson.  Mrs. Harris was a very caring person, and she loved her 
grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart.  Carolyn also enjoyed 
crocheting and cooking. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Larry Harris, Sr.; brother, 
Jim Thompkins.  Surviving are her children, Sarah (Chuck) Dalton, Jr., Larry 
(Julie) Harris, Jr., and Jesse (Charlotte) Harris; 11 grandchildren; three 
great-grandchildren. 

The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 16, 2014 at Lehman 
Funeral Homes, 220 Rich Street, Ionia, with Pastor Kenneth Harger of Shiloh 
Community Church presiding.  Interment will follow at Tuttle Cemetery, Ionia.  
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral 
home.
