ERNEST E. HARRIS
Lake Odessa - Ernest E. Harris, 62, of 217 Dye, Ionia, died early Monday morning 
at the Kelsey Memorial hospital at Lakeview following an extended illness.

He was a veteran of World War II and had worked at the Lake Odessa Canning 
Company, the Lake Odessa machine Products and the Universal Products at Saranac.

He was born August 23, 1911 at Boyne City, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee E. 
Harris.

Surviving beside the wife, the former Sarah J. Daniels of Belding, are three 
daughters, Mrs. Doris Eastman of Sunfield, Mrs. Betty Davis of Saranac and Mrs. 
Barbara Gorsuch of Belding, six sons, Norman Harris of Lake Odessa, Larry of 
Ionia, Ernest and Robert of Greenville, Roger of Saranac and Kenneth of West 
Palm Beach, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Griffin of 
Greenville and Mrs. Rosella Boatwright of Vero Beach, Fla.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 PM at Pickens-Koops funeral Chapel Lake 
Odessa. Rev. Harold Green will officiate and interment will be at Lakeside 
cemetery.
