Hubbardston, Oct. 1—Funeral services for Fred Harris, 61, who died Saturday at 
the home of his sister, Mrs. Wm. White, were held from the residence Monday 
afternoon.  Interment was in West Side cemetery.

Mr. Harris had been ill for more than a year and for several weeks had been 
confined to his bed.  His illness started when a cancerous growth was removed 
from his hand.  His death was attributed to cancer.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ella White of this city, Mrs. Eva Trout of 
Battle Creek and one brother, William of Maple Rapids.  Mr. Harris was a 
member of the F.&.A.M.
