She was born May 14, 1892, at Pompeii, daughter of the late Furman and Jenny Gilleo. She moved to Muir with her parents and spent most of her life there. She received some nurse’s training at Butterworth hospital, Grand Rapids, and then went to Pennsylvania where she assisted in a doctor’s office. She married William Harrison April, 1930, and he preceded her in death in February, 1936. Following his death she operated his general store in Muir until its sale to Earl Lincoln. After the sale she moved to Lansing where she stayed during the week, returning each weekend to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Kopchick. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Kopchick of Muir, and a half-sister, Mrs. Claudia Hefty of St. Johns. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Shaw-Rivett funeral home in Muir. The Rev. John O. Carlton, pastor of the St. John’s Episcopal church, will officiate. Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery, Muir.
