C. Richard (Dick) Harrison, 57, of Dimondale, former pastor of Lyons Baptist Church, died January 13 at a Lansing hospital. He was born May 11, 1931 in Spencer, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Madge Quick Harrison. He attended Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia, Alma College, and Grand Rapids Baptist College. He was ordained June 1, 1966, and served Baptist churches in Casnovia and Belmont. He was pastor at Lyons Baptist Church from 1969 to 1977, and was minister of the Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Dimondale, and was a staff announcer for Family Life Radio in Albion. He was married to Betty Anderson in August of 1958; and also served in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife; one son, Richard of Indianapolis, Indiana; two daughters, Brenda Gilmore of Dimondale and Dorene Kreigshauser of California; one brother, Phil of Atlanta; two sisters, Rosalyn Shoot and Maryann Adams, both of Flint; his mother, Madge Harrison of Flushing; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be January 17, 7 p.m. at Mount Hope Church in Lansing. Burial is in Restlawn Cemetery in Grand Rapids. Arrangements by Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir.
