Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 11 Aug 1944

Harvey Hart, 73, Berlin township resident, died Thursday evening at 8 o’clock 
in the Ionia County Memorial hospital where he had been admitted the night 
before.  He was born November 9, 1870, in Berlin township, the son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Franklin E. Hart.  Most of his life had been spent in Berlin with the 
exception of a few years in Cedar Rapids.

He is survived by two sons, Vernon H. Hart, of Flint, and F. DuMont Hart, of 
Coalesville, Pa.; one daughter, Mrs. William Weaver, of Lansing, seven 
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. N. J. Stoat of Long Beach, Calif., and Miss 
Katherine Hart of Grand Rapids.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Morris 
funeral home, Saranac.  Rev. F. Chamberlain will officiate and burial will be 
in Saranac cemetery.
