Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, Feb. 12, 1948

Mrs. Mary A. Hart, 77, of Stanton died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 11 in 
Edmore, where she had lived for the past two years. She had been in poor health 
for many years.

She was born April 29, 1870, in Grand Rapids. She resided in Saranac for some 
time, where her husband, Charles W. Hart, taught school in both South Boston 
and Saranac. He died in 1900.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Andrews and Mrs. Thelma Brundage of 
Stanton; one son, Ivan Hart, of Flint; nine grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Stebbins funeral home in Stanton, where it will 
repose until Saturday. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 
o'clock from the Wesleyan Methodist church in Clarksville, with the interment 
in Clarksville.
