Ionia Standard, 1 Mar 1918

Byron Harter, 72 years old, died at 11: 00 o’clock Sunday night at the home in
the Hudson apartments.  He is survived by his wife and one sister, who lives in
Kansas.  Funeral announcement will be made later.

[Transcriber’s note: There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried
in Highland Park Cemetery.]
