Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 Jul 1966

A former resident of Ionia, Harry E. Harter, 97, died July 2 in Long Beach,
Calif.  He was born in Ionia to Mr. and Mrs. George Harter and attended Ionia
schools.  He moved to California about 15 years ago.

Surviving are his wife, Mary, two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Cook and Mrs. Mabel
Nelson of California; one son, Harry of Lansing, one sister, Mrs. Guy Sayles of
Ionia, and five grandchildren.

Burial will be in California.
