Daily Sentinel - Thursday, Feb. 9, 1911

The funeral for the late F.H. Harter was attended at 10 o'clock this morning 
from the home of his mother, Mrs. E.M. Harter, Lafayette street. Rev. W.K. 
Spencer officiated and Mr. Benedict and Mrs. Phelps sang. The remains were laid 
in the Wagar vault in Highland Park and the  interment will follow later in the 
spring. Mr. Harter was 58 years of age, and before he left Ionia was for a long 
time in the grocery business here. Mrs. Harter arrived from Chicago yesterday 
noon and returned this afternoon.
