               A WELL KNOWN RONALD WOMAN DEATH VICTIM
      Mrs. Charles B. Harter Died Tuesday Night After a Long Illness:
                          Services Friday.

Mrs. Charles Harter, for many years a resident of Ronald township, died at the 
family home Tuesday night after an illness lasting nearly 17 months.

Before her marriage she was Miss. Ella Sommers. She came from New York state to 
Ronald township to live at the age of 12 years.

Mr. and Ms. Harter were married 42 years ago, December 17.

Mrs. Harter is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Lynn Bamborough, 
of Ronald. She is also survived by four brothers, George Sommers and Homer 
Sommers of California; Arthur Sommers of Orleans and Winfield Sommers of 
Davidsburg. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Clara Van Nornum of Ronald.

The funeral will be held from the late home Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Sun 
time. Rev. M.S. Decker will officiate.
