The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, February 3, 1927
The funeral services for Mrs. G. Harter, who lives between Pewamo and Fowler, 
will be held from the family residence Friday at 2 o’clock fast time. Mrs. 
Harter was born in Germany 72 years ago and came to Michigan when a mere child 
and has lived in that vicinity practically since and died Tuesday following a 
six weeks’ illness.  Mr. Harter died a year ago.  Surviving her are the six 
children, Mrs. Jessie Root and Mrs. Frank Root, of Ionia; Mrs. Lena 
Kreighbauhm, Matherton, Charles Harley, Pewamo, and August Harter and Mrs. L. 
W. Moore, who live at the old home.
