Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 Nov 1935

Charles B. Harter, 75, of Muir, died Tuesday morning at his home following an
illness of two and a half years.  He was born in Ronald township the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Gaylord Harter and in 1881 he married Miss Ella Summers.  They lived on
his father’s farm until her death in 1924 after which he resided at the home of
his daughter.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Aldrich of Muir, formerly of Ionia and a
granddaughter, Jean Aldrich.

Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock with
Rev. Paul L. Stewart officiating and interment at Highland Park cemetery.
