Ionia Sentinel Standard, 25 Sep 1956

Mrs. Sylvia N. Harter, 80, of 720 West Lincoln avenue, Ionia died at the Ionia
County Memorial hospital at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday, September 25.  She had been a
patient since Sunday.  Mrs. Harter was born in Battle Creek, April 23, 1876 and
was married to Walter Harter in Ionia in 1915.  They had resided in their
present home for the past 41 years.

Surviving is her husband, Walter.

The body will be at Boynton’s funeral home until Thursday morning and will be
moved to the residence at 720 West Lincoln avenue where funeral services will be
conducted Thursday afternoon, September 27 at 2:30.  Elder J.D. Bolejack will
officiate.  Interment will be in the family lot in Balcom cemetery.
