Barnard G.C. Hartle, 65, died Sunday at St. Lawrence Hospital, Lansing, after a
short illness.  He was the son of the late Rev. and Mrs. A.G. Hartle of Belding.
 He was a resident of Eaton Rapids for many years.  He was a pharmacist in
Lansing and the past few years was employed at Fisher Body in Lansing.

Surviving are his wife, the former Pearl Biggs; three sisters, Mrs. Ninide
Moshier of Sand Lake, Mrs. Peter Burleigh of Cincinnati and Mrs. Arthur Fitzjohn
of Belding, and two brothers, Chester of Ohio and Burton of Clermont, Fla.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Fitzjohn Funeral Home.  The body
will be taken to White Chapel in Detroit for cremation.

Funeral services for Bernard G.C. Hartle, 54, who died Sunday in Lansing, will
be held at Fitzjohn Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Orleans
Cemetery.  The body will not be taken to White Chapel in Detroit for cremation
as previously planned.
