The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, July 11, 1940

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Laurie Hartman were held Wednesday afternoon 
at 2:30 o’clock from the home of her son, Oliver, on East Lincoln avenue.  
Rev. Paul L. Stewart conducted the services and interment was held at Woodard 
Lake cemetery.

Bearers were Benjamin Hartman, Oliver Hartman, Orval Hartman, Weston Hartman, 
Stephen Kimball and Wilbur Bennett.  Floral arrangements were in charge of 
Mrs. Beatrice Anderson Smith and Mrs. Ray Coon.

Those attending form out of town were Mrs. Mattie Kimball, Mrs. Luella Kimball 
and Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Kimball of Lake Orion, Mrs. Archie Bradley and children 
of Bloomfield Hills, Mrs. Minnie Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Bennett, Mr. and 
Mrs. Stephen Kimball, Charles Wright, Miss Carrie Wright and Mrs. Benjamin 
Hartman, all of Lyons; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Cunningham, Mrs. May Wood and Miss 
Gladys Hartman of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Harper and Mr. and Mrs. John 
Swagart of St. Johns, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Brunson of Williamston, Mrs. Mary 
McFellen, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Dickerson and Mrs. Fred Peters of Ithaca, Mr. and 
Mrs. Benjamin Hartman of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Weston Hartman of Gladwin, 
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kimball of Muir, Mrs. Frank Kimball of Charlotte, and Mrs. 
Ward Haskins of Saranac.
