Larry L.D. Hartman, 64, passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, 1998, at a Grand Rapids 
hospital.  He was born June 29, 1934 in Lyons, the son of Milo and Gladys 
(Stull) Hartman.  He attended Lyons High School.  He served in the U.S. Army 
and worked on maintenance for the Ionia Free Fair.  He was married to the 
former Judy Curtis.

He is survived by his wife, Judy, of Ionia; sons, Brian (Debbie) Curtis of Port 
Huron, and Michael (Elaine) Hartman of Sunfield; daughters, Mellissa (Michael) 
Griffin of Crystal, and Jessica Hartman of Ionia; brothers, Don Hartman of 
Saranac, and Richard (Ilene) of Ionia; sisters, Judy (Lou) Lemke of Muir, and 
Ruthe Anderson of Muir; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Saturday, Sept. 12, and Sunday, Sept. 13.  Funeral services are 
2 p.m. today at the Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, with the Rev. Ed Filter of St. 
Andrew Lutheran Church officiating.  Cremation will follow with burial in Muir 
Cemetery.
