Ilene Hartman, aged 78, of Ionia, beloved mother, sister and grandmother 
passed away July 5, 2009.

She was born April 5, 1931 in Ionia the daughter of Leroy and Dorothy (Ogden) 
Fuller. She married Richard Hartman Aug. 7, 1948 in Ionia. He preceded her in 
death in 2007. Ilene was always caring for someone else.

She is survived by her children Kathy (Don) Ward of Ionia, Kim (Cindy) Hartman 
of Ionia, Kurt (Jackie) Hartman of Ionia; brothers Bart (Ardie) Fuller of 
Ionia and Dick (Nancy) Fuller of Grand Haven; sister Shirley Hummell of Ionia; 
sisters-in-law Virginia Fuller of Ionia, Judy Lemke of Muir, Ruth Andersen of 
Muir and Wilma Hartman of Muir; grandchildren, Jeff (Suzanne) Ward, Jason 
(Sarah) Ward, Aaron (Kari) Hartman, Ryan Hartman and Stephanie Dye, Lyndsee 
(Fernando) Crespo and 6 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers Rod 
Fuller and Jack Fuller and 1 sister Marilyn Markle.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday 11 a.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment Balcom Cemetery. 
Visitation will be on Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Those wishing 
may make memorial contributions to the families Wishes.
