Mary L. (Cusick) Hartman, 72, died on March 31, 2013 from congestive heart 
failure. She was born on Dec. 16, 1940 in Detroit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bernadette Cusick, and her 
sister, Susan Weiers.

She is survived by her son, David Hartman (Suzette), and grandson, Benjamin 
Hartman, Jenison, Mich.; daughter, Debra Hartman, Rochester, N.Y.; sister, 
Charlene Evans (Robert), Stuart, Fla.; brothers, Richard Cusick (Mary), Laurel, 
MD, and Michael Cusick (Marianne), Lakeland, Fla.; as well as numerous nieces 
and nephews.

Mary attended SS Peter & Paul Academy and was a graduate of the Class of 1958. 
She obtained her nursing degree from Grand Rapids Junior College.

Mary dedicated her life as a nurse working with children with physical and 
mental disabilities at the Ann Stork Center in Ft. Lauderdale. At her 
retirement, she moved to the Woodbrook Estates in Lakeland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at SS Peter & Paul Catholic 
Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 20 with Rev. Kevin Cusick celebrant. Burial 
will immediately follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
