Rev. P.C. Yensen of Portland was the officiating minister. The music was by Mrs. Milo B. White. The bearers were Lemuel Hartman, Larry Hartman, George Stull, John Stull, Chris Luft and Robert Luft. All were uncles of the deceased except the later who was a cousin. Miss Hartman was killed in an auto accident in Orleans at 3 a.m. Sunday in which to other Muir youths were fatally injured. Relatives and other friends from away were Bert Stull of Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. George Stull and children, Mr. and Mrs. John Stull and children, Mrs. James Boyer of Parma; Mr. and Ms. Chris Luft and children and Robert Luft of Owosso; Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Mulix of Muskegon; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Snickle, Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Hartman, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hatfield of Ionia; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hartman of Saranac and many other friends from Lansing, Orleans, Portland, Owosso, Jackson, Carson City, Saranac, Ionia and Lyons. Burial was in the Muir cemetery.
