Hartman Mr. Harold K. Hartman, 80, of Ionia passed away Friday, June 1, 2001 at his home. Harold King Hartman was born July 23, 1920 in Mt. Clemens, the son of Harry S. and Tessie (King) Hartman. He owned Hartman Produce on North M-66 for 16 years. He then became custodian for Greenville High School, retiring in 1982 after 20 years. Harold was married on Sept. 10, 1949, in Roseville to Anna Ruby. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Ionia where he was on the board of education and the finance board. Mr. Hartman was also a life member of the Sheridan V.F.W. Post #5065 and a past commander and a life member of the D.A.V #106 in Belding. Mr. Hartman is survived by his wife Anna; two daughters, Dr. Rebecca (Barry Wesley) Hartman of Carbondale, Ill. and Janice Hartman of Sidney; two grandchildren Abigail Wesley and Benjamin Wesley. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother. Funeral services were held at 11 AM. Monday from St.Johns Lutheran Church in Ionia with Pastor Paul Yanke officiating. The organist was Teresa Boike. Interment was in Orleans Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Harold's memory to the St. Johns Lutheran Church or the Ionia County Commission on Aging in care of Cook Funeral Home in Ionia.
