The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, August 31, 1971
Mrs. Anna L. Hartman, 82, of 444 Higbee, Lyons, died Tuesday morning at Ionia 
County Memorial hospital.  Born in Lyons township, January 23, 1889, she was 
the daughter of Walter and Anna Alger and attended the Murphy school.  Married 
to Benjamin Hartman they lived on a farm east of Lyons until 1936 when they 
moved to Lyons.  Her husband died in 1949.  She was a member of Lyons Baptist 
church.

Mrs. Hartman will be at the Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home in Muir until noon 
Friday when she will be taken to Lyons Baptist church for services at 2 p.m.  
Rev. C. R. Harrison will officiated and interment will be at Lyons cemetery.
