John Maynard Hartman, 86, of Ionia, passed away June 7, 2015, in Ionia.  He was
born Feb. 14, 1929, in Ionia, the son of Lemuel and Maple Hartman.  John married
Namiko on June 21, 1951, in Okinawa.  He graduated from Ionia High School, Class
of 1946.  John served in the Air Force during the Korean War Conflict.

John is survived by his wife of 63 years, Namiko Hartman of Ionia; nieces,
Bonita Louise (Worthy) Bush of Nebraska, Kathleen Marie Williams of Remus,
Darlene Joy Holsted of Cedar Springs; and nephew, Thomas (Jean) Clore of Ft.
Wayne, Indiana.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gertrude
Alverta Hartman.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 12, 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home in
Ionia with Pastor David Alderman officiating.  Visitation on Thursday at the
funeral home from 7-8 p.m.  Interment at Balcom Cemetery.
