Robert A. Hartman, 52, of Belding died February 6, 1994 at his home.  He was 
born March 9, 1941 in Belding.  He was a 1959 graduate of Ionia High School.

Surviving him are his mother, Winona Hulbert Beckhorn of Ionia; two sons, 
Robert A. Hartman Jr. of Greenville, and Zachary Hartman of Belding; one 
sister, Carol Palmer of Ionia; one brother, Larry Hartman of Hartselle, Ala; 
two grandchildren; special friend, Jane Smith and her son Adam Smith; and one 
aunt, Phyllis Guernsey of Portland.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. the Huffman 
Funeral Home, Belding.  Funeral and committal services will be held Wednesday 
at 1 p.m. at the Huffman Funeral Home with the Rev. Kendall Harger 
officiating.  Burial will be in the Orleans Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers 
memorial contributions can be made to charities of one’s choice.
