Portland Observer, Monday, October 14, 1985

Cynthia K. Hartwick, 29, of 7395 Kimball Road, Lyons, died Oct. 9 at her 
residence, as a result of a farming accident.  She was born Feb. 13, 1956, 
daughter of L.J. and Mary (Mongold) Proctor.

Survivors include three sons, James, Shawn, and Robert, all at home; two 
daughters, Sabrina Hartwick and Mary Erdman, both at home; her mother and step-
father, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nelson of Lyons; one grandmother, Zoa Proctor of 
Portland; step-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Townson of Harrison; four 
brothers, Jack of Lyons, and John, Donald, and Ronald, all of Portland; one 
sister, Sue Randolph of Lyons; two step-brothers, Rick and Scott Nelson, both 
of Lincoln Lake; and one step-sister, Deborah Dingman of Cedar Springs.

Services were held Oct. 12 at Neller Funeral Home, Portland, with Pastor Paul 
Carmichael of the Lyons Baptist Church officiating.  Interment was made at 
Danby Cemetery.
