Charles Turley Harvey age 91, of Ionia, passed away May 11, 2007 at Heartland 
Health Care in Ionia. Charles was born February 8, 1916 in Hallow-Rock, TN., 
the son of Ira and Lemora (Cox) Harvey.  Charles served in the US Navy during 
World War II, he retired from Key Line Freight of Grand Rapids, MI in 1978.

He is survived by his wife Weltha; five children, Robert (Hilda) Harvey of 
Kentwood, MI, Cheryl (William) Anderson of Muir, Larry Harvey of Ionia, 
Charles Jr. (Sue) Harvey of Ionia, Harold J. (Mellissa) Harvey of Ionia; 10 
grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Charles was preceded in death by his 
parents, brother Earley and daughter Judy.

Per Charles' request, there was a graveside service held for the family on 
Monday with Pastor Robert Jourdan officiating. Interment in North Plains 
Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
