Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 4 Jan 1960

Mrs. Bertha Harwood, 60, 1555 Grace avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, died January 1 at a
Lakewood hospital where she had been a patient.  She was born November 24, 1899
in Berlin township, the daughter of John and Ida Winegar.  She was married to
Mark P. Harwood and had resided in Lakewood for several years.  

Besides her husband she is survived by her stepmother, Mrs. Bertha Winegar of
Saranac; her father-in-law, William Harwood, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Harwood of Berlin township.

Funeral will be conducted at 7:30 Monday evening at the Klanke funeral parlor
Incorporated, Lakewood.  The body of Mrs. Howard will arrive in Ionia Tuesday
noon and service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Stone-Kauffman
funeral home.  The Rev. Heath T. Goodwin, pastor of the First Methodist church,
will officiate.  Interment will be at Balcom cemetery.  The family will be at
the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday to receive friends.
