Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 7 Apr 1960

Funeral service for Guy Harwood, was held at Myers funeral home Wednesday
afternoon with the Rev. Floyd Emshwiller officiating.  Mr. Harwood died April 3
at his home, 202 East Main street, at the age of 89.  He had been ill since the
first of the year.

A brother, Jay Harwood and one sister, Mrs. Iva Kneale, preceded him in death.

Burial was at Balcom cemetery.  Bearers were Forrest Nash, Raymond Nash, Howard
Nash, John Adgate, E.J. Tupper and Russell Krieger.  Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Rumbaugh and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Youngs were in charge of flowers.

Attending from away were Richard Rinker of Chicago, Ill., Ray Harwood and Lois
Harwood of Detroit, the Clifford Harwoods and Jerry Harwoods of Otsego, Mr. and
Mrs. Max Hinds and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Hinds and family and Mr. and Mrs.
Herbert Hinds and family of Portland; Mr. and Mrs. William Hinds of Belding,
Mrs. Esther Saunders and Leo Hinds of Lansing.
