Paul Lamont Harwood, 92, of Big Rapids formerly of Ionia passed away Jan. 1, 
2013. He was born Oct. 16, 1920 in Ionia, the son of Leavett and Amy (Bennett) 
Harwood. Paul married Pauline Kammers April 29, 1943 in Belding, she preceded 
him in death April 11, 2009.

He is survived by his daughters Brenda (Dave) Ayers of Fenton and Tracie 
(Roger) Stobert of Canadian Lakes; grandchildren, Amy (Greg) Granger of Gaines, 
Brandy (Jim) Waite of Morris, Ill., R. Troy (Carrilyn) Stobert of South 
Boardman and Gretchen (Bryan) Wilson of Grand Rapids; seven great 
grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and 
several nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife; brother Edgar Harwood; sisters, Elise 
Day and Doris Kuhtz; great grand daughter Cassondra Smith; and great great 
grandson Zane Urban-Waite.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be Memorial Services at 
Lake Funeral Home in Ionia, Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Pastor 
Kenneth Harger officiating.
