Graveside services for Doris L. (Townsend) Harwood, 81, of Plainwell, former
Ionia resident, who died Dec. 4, were held Friday at 12:30 p.m. in Balcom
Cemetery, with the Rev. John Sorensen of Ionia First United Methodist Church
officiating.  Funeral services were held at Williams Funeral Home, Delton.

Both she and her late husband, Clifford, who died in 1969, were born in Ionia
and moved after their marriage to Portland and later to Three Rivers and Plainwell.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Harwood, of Plainwell and two grandchildren.
