Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 15 May 1962

Mrs. Ida M. Haskin, 89, died at 2:30 Monday afternoon.  She was a resident of
Orleans township many years and moved to Ionia in 1943.  Born November 15, 1872
in Orleans township, she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Ransom and
was married in 1891 to Byron A. Haskin.  They celebrated their golden wedding
anniversary in 1941.  Mr. Haskin died in 1949.  Mrs. Haskin was a member of
Lincoln Avenue Baptist church.

She is survived by three sons, Stanley B. Haskin of Belding, Allen of St.
Petersburg, Fla., and Levi E. of Phoenix, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 26
great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and a brother, William
Ransom of Crystal.

Service will be conducted at Stone-Kauffman funeral home Friday at 2:309 p.m. 
The Rev. Paul Knaak will officiate and interment will be at Orleans cemetery.
