CHARLOTTE M. HASKIN, 99
Charlotte M. Haskin, 99, of Ionia, formerly of Saranac, passed away Monday, Dec. 
25, 2017, at Heartland Charlotte was born on April 16, 1918, in Evergreen Park, 
ILL., the daughter of Emil and Alvina (Abs) Petchinsky.

She was a past member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Ionia and Ladies Aid 
Society. Charlotte enjoyed bingo, cards and cooking. She will be greatly missed 
by her family and friends.

Charlotte married Byron Haskin on April 4, 1953, and he preceded her in 2004 as 
well as her parents, two daughters; Betty and connie, son-in-law Joe, four 
brothers and seven sisters.

She is loved and survived by her children; Judy (Bill) Loper of Greenville, Bev. 
Coonrod of Saranac and Bonnie (Chris) Zahm of Martin, 11 great-grandchildren and 
three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral and Committal Prayers will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at Johnson-
Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating. Private 
Interment will be in River Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
