Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Jan 1987

Allen Haskins, 90, of 5927 30th St., N., St. Petersburg, Fla., died Jan.  1.  He
was born April 5, 1896, in Orleans.

He served in the Marine Corps in World War I.  He was a breeder of purebred
Herford cattle, on his farm north of Ionia.  He was a well-known auctioneer for
many years and retired in 1955 to St. Petersburg.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred of St. Petersburg; two daughters, Helen Braman
of Burlington, N.C. and Wanda Kiefner of Springfield, Pa.; two sons, Norman of
Lake Odessa and Marvin of Palm Harbor, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; and 27
great-grandchildren.
