          HASKINS

Karen Sue Haskins age 76 of Saranac, MI. passed away surrounded by her family on 
May 3, 2023. She was born on May 17, 1945, in Ionia the daughter of LaVern and 
Hazel (Bailey) Harris.

Karen married Chuck Haskins on June 25, 1971, in Ionia, he passed away April 10, 
2023. She worked for Amway in customer service for several years.Karen was a 
member of Saranac Community Church. She had incredible faith and a special 
church family.She loved decorating and shopping.

Surviving Karen is her children, Lynn(Dan) Kaufman of Saranac, Angie (Kevin) 
Krick of Saranac and Toby (Lanette)Haskins of Saranac; grandchildren, Gordon 
(Andrea)Keech, Jessica Fazier, Scott (Kara) Spitzley, Chelsea Dunn, Bailey 
Strouse, Taven Haskins, Shelby Haskins, Heather(Garron)Slater and Dylan (Tarah) 
Leland; several great-grandchildren; brother-jin-law Lionel Haskins of Saranac 
and sister-in-law Rosemary (Dan) Healy of Florida.She is also survived by 
several nieces, nephews, and very special friends Marlene and Dave Courter and 
Yvonne Elvert. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Chuck Haskins, 
daughter Brenda Brown-Kerr.

Funeral services for Karen will be held at Saranac Community Church on Monday, 
May 8th 1:00 PM. Interment at Saranac Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 hours prior 
to services(11-1). Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Saranac 
Community Church.
