E. E. Branch of this city officiated at the funeral of Mrs. Allan Haskins, held at the home of her mother, Mrs. Clara Yeomans, on the State road, Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Haskins died suddenly at Detroit and at the same time her husband lay sick in the house with pneumonia, being prevented from accompanying the remains to Ionia, but later improving sufficiently to attend the obsequies. The bearers at the funeral of Mrs. Haskins were Stanley Haskins, Levi Haskins, Morris Yeomans, Gus Gott, Ray Herrick and Bert Reed. Interment was made in Highland Park cemetery. Mrs. Haskins passed away under very saddened circumstances and her demise has cast a sorrow over the neighborhood in which she formerly resided. Besides the husband and mother, the deceased leaves a brother, Morris Yeomans, and a sister, Marjorie Yeomans. Those from away to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Higgley, Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hunt, Clarksville, Ray Herrick, Byron Center; Edward Gott and family, Vestaburg; Mr. and Mrs. Hogan and family and Mrs. Dan King, Belding, and George Martin, Detroit.
