The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, September 29, 1943

Funeral services for Miss Frances Hasman, 32, were held Wednesday afternoon at 
the Voorhees undertaking parlors in Pontiac, with interment in a Pontiac 
cemetery.

Miss Hasman was instantly killed Saturday evening when struck by a hit-and-run 
driver on a Pontiac street.  She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Hasman 
of Ionia, and had received her education in local schools.  In recent years 
she had been employed in Detroit.

Three brothers and three sisters survive with the parents.
