The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, April 30, 1952

Mrs. Bertha J. Haas, 88, formerly of Ionia, died in Detroit Tuesday afternoon, 
April 29.  The body will be removed to Ionia.  Services will be held at the 
Myers funeral home Friday at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Louise Kaiser, Mrs. A. Rowe and Mrs. C. J. 
Hoffman of Lansing and Mrs. John Hackbart of Detroit; two sons, Louis and 
Reinhold of Detroit, 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
