Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, June 1, 1920

William Hass, a well known resident of Ionia for many years, died at his home 
at 737 East Lincoln avenue, Saturday evening at the age of 74 years. He leaves 
to survive him besides his widow, one son, Richard, who lives in Ionia. The 
funeral was held this afternoon at the residence at 1:30 and at the German 
Lutheran church at 2:00 o'clock. Mr. Hass came to Ionia in the 80's and has 
been employed in the upholstering department of the P.M. for over 30 years.
