          NATE HASTINGS DIES WEDNESDAY MORNING
                                    ------------
LEAVES WIDOW AND TWO MARRIED DAUGHTERS, FUNERAL AT WOODBURY, FRIDAY.
                                    ------------
   Nate Hastings a resident of Lake Odessa for twenty-five years, passed away early
Wednesday afternoon, 
after a lingering illness, lasting several years.  For the last two years he has
been confined to his bed.
   He leaves his widow and two daughters, Zelma now Mrs. Harold Smith of Nashville,
and Edna now Mrs. 
Wayne Great of Woodbury.
   The funeral will be held at the home of Mrs. Grant in Woodbury, Friday afternoon
at 2 p.m. and burial will be 
at Lakeview cemetery.
