Ionia- Fern E. Hatadis, 84, formerly of Ionia, died Wednesday at Sparrow 
Hospital in Lansing.

She was born Oct. 30, 1906, in Ionia, the daughter of Harry and Jesse Helmer 
Thomas. She married Glenn Hatadis, of Ionia, on December 7, 1925.

She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church of Lansing.

She is survived by one daughter, Pat Britton of Lansing; two sons, Glenn, 
Jr. of California and Richard of Florida; one brother, Harry Thomas of 
Texas; one nephew, Charles Stewart of Muir; 12 grandchildren and 21 great 
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982, a son Robert in 1981, and 
one grandson, Patrick Hatadis in California.

Funeral services will be held Friday at the Cook Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m., 
with the Rev. Sidney Short officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 
p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
