Hatch, widow of Charles M. Hatch, died at her home in this village Tuesday morning, after an illness of several weeks. Her death followed that of her husband by two months and eight days. Adeline M. Sherwood was born at Otsego, Michigan, February 10, 1834, and moved to Brighton, N.Y., in 1847, where she was married to Dr. Chas. G. Crittendon June 4, 1851/54?, who departed this life prior to her removal to Lyons, Michigan, in 1880. She united with the Muir Presbyterian Church in 1883 and was always a faithful member thereof. Although unable to attend its services regularly on account of her health, she was always a willing contributor to its work. In 1892 she was united in marriage to Chas. M. Hatch. For many years she was a member of the W.R.C. and gave of her time and money in its work. Her health was been such for several years as to prevent her joining much in the various works of the community, but in her sweet, loving way she endeared herself to all with whom she came in contact. She is survived by two brothers, M. C. Sherwood, of Allegan, and N. B. Sherwood of Lyons. Funeral services will be held at the house Friday morning at ten o’clock fast time.
