As near as can be discovered they had…(illegible)…as there were quite a few hickory ruts in the buggy. Some men who were ditching noticed something peculiar about Mrs. Hatch and spoke to Mrs. Sarvey telling her that her daughter had passed away. In her dazed condition Mrs. Sarvey could not realize the fact and it was some moments before the men could find out who they were, but finally she told them to call Mills Hatch. The body was taken into the house of the Chas. Nobles’ farm where a doctor was called at once, but it was too late. Neighbors hearing the report, were soon to the house and when Mrs. Harold Hatch arrived she was shocked to find that the dead woman was her own sister-in-law. Mr. Hatch, with the men of the neighborhood were away filling silos. Guy Belding was called and the body was taken in the ambulance to her home where the funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
